Prior to founding Raw Iron Performance, Cody has invested 22 years into the sport, competing in numerous sports including lacrosse, football, basketball, track, and strongman. Cody made his way into the pro ranks of lacrosse, having played in 2014 for the hometown Calgary Roughnecks. Cody also won 4 provincial championships in football, along with several individual accolades including 3 time defender of the year (10’-12’ Delta Islanders, BCJALL), 1st Team All BCJALL (12’ Delta Islanders), BCJALL Defender of the year (12’ Delta Islanders), Provincial MVP (09’ Seaquam Seahawks), and Strongman King of The Valley 1st place (16’ CAASA).

Cody has now stepped back from the workload of an elite athlete, now changing his focus to giving back to the sports that gave so much to him. Through strength and conditioning, Cody is able to facilitate an environment for athletes to thrive in. With many young athletes working towards post-secondary education, Cody offers a sound training experience that will allow the athlete to become undeniably bigger, faster, and stronger. Cody has been training athletes for the past 7 years, and continues to self educate himself, in order to give the athlete, every opportunity they deserve to succeed.

On top of training athletes, Cody's heavily involved in the lacrosse community, having worked with the Jr B Calgary Shamrocks in 2016 as their dryland coach, and eventually moving into the defensive coordinator position for 3 years with the Jr A Calgary Mountaineers. Currently, Cody is the head coach of the Jr A Calgary Mountaineers and is working towards winning Albert's first Jr A national championship (Minto Cup).

TOGETHER WE WILL BE CHAMPIONS
